Super proud of 5M, who managed to be one of the FIRST classes to read 1 MILLION words! As a reward, our class received some new books to add to our class library. Fantastic work 5M. Keep up the good work!

We had a fun filled week when our new school library was ready to be opened.  The Author Jen Carney came in to open it

For the last part of the Autumn term, the children have been exploring Charles Dickens’ book A Christmas Carol. The classes have staged scenes from Dickensian times and written fantastic pieces of writing and completed phenomenal art work around the text. Below is a recording of our interpretation of the text ‘Clarendon’s Christmas Carol’ which all children in school have worked on. We are incredibly proud of their achievements…we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
