Derian House Childrens Hospice

This year, our class charity is Derian House Children’s Hospice. This amazing charity cares for more than 450 seriously ill children and young people across the North West. They help children and young people, whose lives are too short, to make happy memories. Derian House Children’s Hospice is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: the care they provide is free of charge to families but costs the charity around £5.7 million a year (of which only 17% is funded by the government). This is why 6P are determined to raise as much money as possible for Derian House Children’s Hospice throughout the year, including during our enterprise week events in the summer term.

During our ‘True Meaning of Christmas’ week in school, we managed to raise an amazing £136.73 for Derian House Children’s Hospice! We also raised £83 during enterprise week.
