Welcome to the Year 5 blog! What an exciting year ahead we have! Back to some sort of normality. Please read the important information on this page and click on the news post at the bottom of the page to see our wonderful learning activities and experiences.
School uniform
Please ensure your child wears full school uniform now including black shoes except on Wednesday, which is their PE day. They must come to school in their school uniform. PE kit should be brought in a draw string bag. Hi-Viz jackets MUST be worn every day as part of our school uniform. Buy one at the office if your child does not have one. Hi-Viz jacket, water bottles and book bags should be brought to school every day.
Homework: Friday
All homework will be completed online: reading plus, mirodo, spelling shed and accelerated reader. All homework is to be handed in on Fridays
Spelling test: Monday
Please make sure your child learns their 17 spellings each week using spelling shed or the list in their book.
Hometime
If you would like your child to walk home alone, please complete the parent permission form at the office.
Ensure you are checking the parentapp regularly for the latest school updates.
