The children from Year 4 and the choir sang a series of songs as their Christmas to the residents of Mill View Care Home.

Christmas is such a special time of year for everyone. Times are difficult for all our families at the moment and as a school we have prioritised what we consider to be the ‘True Meaning of Christmas’ – spending time with family and friends and giving thanks for these opportunities – not the giving and receiving of presents.
The main moral of our school Christmas celebrations this year have been taken from our school book, ‘Leffy’s Christmas Gift’ by Lizzie Walkley.
“A present’s not just about having more stuff, a gift from the heart is more than enough. A song or a picture, a kiss or a hug and spending some time with the ones that we love.”
Our school has been turned into Lapland where the book has been set. The Christmas windows excite our children with their learning during the festive period.
Happy Christmas Everyone!
