Have you ever wondered how many words are in a dictionary?  Each year words are added but in order to do this some words need to be removed.  You’d be surprised which words are no longer in our dictionaries.  Bolton at Home kindly donated to school a book called ‘the lost words.’  This beautifully illustrated book shows some of these words and provides the definitions along with superb illustrations.  Have a flick through the book…you’ll be surprised by some of the ‘lost words.’
