Things we do in our school:

We do many different activities relating to STEM. Here are some of the things we have enjoyed the most.

  • making slime
  • coding using scratch, microbits, beebots, spheros and 2code
  • conducting our own scientific investigations including
    – disecting animal poo
    – exploring what makes a good electrical conductor
    – creating structures that could withold an earthquake
    – observing plants over time
    – different properties of rocks
  • school trips like Chester Zoo and Imagine That, the Museum of Science and Industry

STEM Ambassadors:

STEM Ambassadors are professionals who work within a science, technology, engineering or mathematical background; all of whom have been trained and are registered with STEM Learning. Through a range of activities STEM Ambassadors aim to inspire children to want to join the world of STEM subjects and careers. We aim to have STEM Ambassadors visiting each class at Clarendon throughout the year.
