Welcome to the Year 5 blog! What an exciting year ahead we have! Please read the important information on this page and click on the news post at the bottom of the page to see our wonderful learning activities and experiences.
School Uniform
Please ensure your child wears the full school uniform now, including black shoes. PE is on Monday, so please remember to send in a PE kit on this day. Children must come to school in their school uniform. The PE kit should be brought in a draw-string bag. Hi-Viz jackets MUST be worn every day as part of our school uniform. You can buy one at the office if your child does not have one. Hi-Viz jacket, water bottles and book bags should be brought to school every day & be clearly labelled with your child’s name.
Homework: Friday
All homework will be completed online: Mirodo, Spelling Shed and Accelerated Reader. All homework is to be handed in on Fridays.
Spelling test: Monday
Please make sure your child learns their spellings each week using Spelling Shed or the list in their book.
Home time
If you would like your child to walk home alone, please complete the parent permission form at the office.
