Yasmin Qureshi visited Clarendon & absolutely loved our school. Yasmin answered lots of the children’s questions, viewed our World Book Day Showcase and got busy making a willow wand in our Forest School. We look forward to welcoming her again soon.
This week the school has had a wonderful week learning about ancient Egypt. We created our own museum where all our children, staff, governors and visitors from Bishop Bridgeman primary school shared their learning about specific artefacts that each class had been making.
Bolton At Home kindly donated to school a text called ‘the lost words.’ This text beautifully illustrates and provides descriptions of words that are no longer in the English Dictionary.
A film crew have been in school today to film that fantastic work that we do for children’s Mental Health & Well-being.
The Key Stage 2 children have woven together some fantastic willow sculptures. We have have willow butterflies and bugs, a fox and a deer.
