During the summer terms, we will be learning about:
English:
We will be writing a range of horror/ ghost stories, recounts, action/ adventure stories, riddles, rap, performance poetry
Text focus: Letters from the Lighthouse, Who Let the Gods Out?
Maths:
We will be learning about algebra, ratio, measurements, geometry and statistics.
Learning Links: WW2 and Ancient Greece?
We will be using history skills to learn about a significant event in Britain’s history and how ancient civilisations have influenced modern living.
Science: Animals including Humans and Electricity
We will be using scientific research and explanation skills to learn about the human circulatory system and electrical circuits.
Art and Design Skills
We will be learning about and developing our understanding of photography.
Design and Technology
We will be designing, making and reviewing our own waistcoats and playground structures.
Other activities:
We are very fortunate to have the chance to attend swimming lessons, work with Cool 2 B Kind on a community project and attend the Urban Outreach Food Hub.
