This video is an example of a simple activity that can be repeated at home. The aim of this activity is to encourage children to listen and respond to a simple instruction. The children need to be able to process one information word. For example ‘Jump on the spot’. If they are confident at doing this then repeat the activity but with two information words (a two step instruction). For example ‘Jump on the red spot’.
