World Book Day

Our World Book Day Chapter starts at Clarendon.. We are so lucky- on Friday 6th March- we celebrated World Book Day. We showcased all our learning about the authors we have been looking at in class. We were visited by MP Yasmin Qureshi.

Yasmin Qureshi (MP) visits Clarendon

Yasmin Qureshi visited Clarendon & absolutely loved our school. Yasmin answered lots of the children’s questions, viewed our World Book Day Showcase and got busy making a willow wand in our Forest School. We look forward to welcoming her again soon.

Clarendon School lifts the lid on Ancient Egypt

This week the school has had a wonderful week learning about ancient Egypt. We created our own museum where all our children, staff, governors and visitors from Bishop Bridgeman primary school shared their learning about specific artefacts that each class had been making.

The lost words

Bolton At Home kindly donated to school a text called ‘the lost words.’ This text beautifully illustrates and provides descriptions of words that are no longer in the English Dictionary.
