Welcome to Year 2
Our school start time is 8.40 and the gates will be closed at 8.45. Please ensure you come to school on time. Please bring a water bottle, high-viz jackets and a coat (weather permitting) to school every day.
It is very important to read at home with your children and this will really help their progress. Please read at home at least 3 times a week and sign your child’s diary. Please help your children bring their diary and reading book to school every day.
All homework is set online and will be checked every Wednesday. Please complete three pieces of homework a week. This includes one piece of maths (my maths or TTrockstars), reading comprehension (reading eggs) and practice their spellings (spelling shed). All the children’s passwords can be found in their diary.

PE is on a Tuesday, please make sure your child has their PE kit in school.
